National Power Training Institute (NPTI), Maharashtra has announced the admission details for Post Graduate diploma in Thermal Power Plant Engineering 2010

Eligibility:

The candidates who have obtained B.E. /B.Sc. (Engineering) AMIE or equivalent degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Control and Instrumentation/Power Engineering are eligible to apply for admission to this Post Graduate diploma course

Selection Procedure:

The admission to this PG Diploma will be done by NPTI Nagpur on the basis of merit based on common entrance test (CET) followed by counseling at NPTI Nagpur. CET will be held on 20.06.2010 at 8 centres i.e. Delhi, Nagpur, Bangalore,

Durgapur, Faridabad, Guwahati, Nangal and Neyveli. A candidate who is allotted a seat during counseling will be required to pay the 1st installment of fee (Rs 30,000/- for non sponsored candidate and Rs 40,000/- for sponsored candidate) immediately without which the admission will not be confirmed. The payment of fees is only through demand draft in favour of NPTI Nagpur. No other mode of payment is acceptable.
